This week may not have a ton of Must See VOD releases to offer us, but we're at least happy that we finally get to have a go at The Abandoned, Cherry Tree, and a new Takashi Miike film.
Don't worry, January's releases get bigger and better starting with next week's crop.

- We've been waiting for a chance to see Cherry Tree since it made the festival rounds last year, and it will be first on our watch list for this weekend.
- The Abandoned looks suitably creepy, and it stars Jason Patric (Lost Boys), so we'll be giving it the review treatment soon.
- We'll also be checking out Over Your Dead Body, even if the reviews have been mixed, because we love Takashi Miike. Who doesn't?
Of the three movies down here on the 2nd tier, Robert looks like it could be redeeming... then again, it looks like a cheap attempt to cash in on the pre-release hype of The Boy (another creepy doll movie that sees release this month), so we're not holding our breath.
Realistically though, these three are all "Wait until they hit Netflix" fodder for us.
